I lost my cat two weeks ago😢 she was 11 years old & got attacked by some predator coyote/ raccoon or owl possibly & it is devastating to lose your cat this way ! PLEASE keep your cats safe indoors.

My Myrna was killed a year and a half ago . A tuxedo with the kindest soul I've ever known . The day before, we had sat out on the porch-she in my lap, gently biting my nose . she also liked her chin scratched by my beard . She was only 3 1/2 yrs old and we'd finally gotten her fixed . Damn, I miss her .

i lost my baby girl eddie yesterday she was with me for 13 years she was my angel and the love of my life,she had breast cancer and a tumoe removed 13 months ago but almost ovenight became very sick,i knew it was time and so did she,she fell alseep with my head on her telling her she was and is the love of my life,thankyou for eveything eddie when i join you we will do it all again,sweet dreams nennie ,baby eddie girl,i love you

My beloved cat Petunia passed away. I was with her at the end. I was flooded with a strange bifurcated feeling of total sadness and loss, fighting against a cold rational stiff upper lip inner voice, saying don’t get carried away, she’s just a cat. She was just a cat. But she was also my sidekick and companion for 12 years. When we found each other, I was just a kid in my 20s. Now I’m a 40 year old husband and father. She’s been a silent witness to so much, and a rare constant in my life. I’ve experienced pet deaths before, but this one hits different. My first pet out of the family home, that was purely mine. My duty, my responsibility. Even the word pet, sounds so reductive. Somehow belittling the relationship we had. She was more than that. A wordless bond. I adopted her when she was just 5 days old from the Humane society. She had been found on the street and taken in. Broken tail, gunky eye. They gave her the name Petunia. It suited her, so I kept it. I bottle fed her every 2 hours until she could eat solid food. She kept me company when I was a stranger in a foreign land with non of my family and friends. Always present through the ups and downs. Leaving home makes you feel kind of unmoored from your centre of gravity, and she was a huge stabilizing force for me over the years. She was there through relationships. Job changes. 4 different apartments. She watched me scream at the TV when England got knocked out of a tournament every 2 years. She next to me when I played Xbox. She was there to meet my future wife when I brought her home for the first time. She was one of 6 attendees at our wedding. A lone bridesmaid, dressed in a pink dress (that she hated). She liked to sleep on her belly when she was pregnant. She was the first to meet our kids when we brought them home from the hospital. She helped to teach my eldest how to walk. One of my youngest first words was Tunesy. It’s hard to be in the house. I keep catching glimpses of her. Every corner, every shadow. I’m sad she won’t be here for any more milestones. But how lucky we were to have her for the time we did. They loved her. We all loved her. Rest in peace, Tunesybear. I’ll miss you.

My cat passed away in our kitchen also. She had only (obviously) been sick for a week and panting for her last 24 hours or so. She had breast cancer. As the saying goes, it happened at first very slowly and then very quickly. RIP Sara cat.

Beautiful. Really beautiful. I know the loss. Lost my best friend this april the 1th. She was the light of my life. Life hasn't been the same since. I did hear her mjau about a month after her passing. People may say I'm crazy or stupid but I really did hear her from the living room. Gave me comfort and a sense that she didn't leave me.

I lost my 22 year old cat last night. It is so quiet without her. My heart breaks; I miss her so.

My 5 year old cat died suddenly yesterday, it was very unexpected. She did not show any signs whatsoever. It turns out she died due too many hairs in her stomach, she licked her self much due the flees. We didn’t know, i’m very mad at my self, it was such a dumb and stupid way😭 i feel like i shouldve took better care of her, her half-brother has been very quiet since, he was lying most of the time on the couch space she used to lie😭 My eyes are all swollen due all the crying, she was so young and had a long life ahead of her together with me and her other 2 brothers

My cat Miguel had died at 6 months 3/6/24 was the date, he had been ran over by a car and unfortunately didn’t make it. This has really affected my life as he was there for me everyday. I have also lost 3 other kittens due to their mothers abandoning them. Before this we had lost 2 dogs due to old age. I wish the best of anyone that had to go through anything like this.

Do you not need to balance the drift? I guess it wouldn't make much difference at these speeds?

hi James my name is Jason I live in Ohio when I was a little boy till I was a teenage boy I used to have 5 different cats all 4 of them died I had 2 cats that brought me so much love their names were TC and Morris every time I come from school when I would go to sleep TC and Morris would sleep with me till 1 day my mom she told me that Morris was dying from a nose bleed and had to be put down I cried a lot 20 years later my sweet little girl TC she was getting old my mom and my step dad took TC to be put down I cried so hard that day so in a way James I feel your pain we will never forget our little friends that loved us a hole lot

my cat friend Tomkat of 16 years was just taken by a mountain lion 3 days ago at night. He had a lot of pain in bad hips and perhaps could not move fast enough. I too am completely destroyed. He was my sole companion the last 4 years 24/7. This video helped. Thank you.

My big sister bought our Persian Angora cat named Snowbelle back in 2009. She was a kitten. She never got sick for 14 years. Because we never allow her to roam on the streets or we might lose her. We allow her to walk on our yard to get some fresh sunshine. She grew up rude & vicious. Giving us claw cuts & bite wounds for years. She never got sick until she had a seizure in May 27, 2024. & she can't move, only her head. We rushed her in our nearest vet. They made a blood test on her, the result was normal. The precribed her some calcium syrup. I gave her some calcium by a syringe dropper when we got home. & a few minutes later she was cured. She can now walk & sit straight up.(Thank God,) Then by April 25, she got a seizure again. During seizure, her sharp claw wounded her paw & blood spitting everywhere. She was not paralyzed this time. The vet removed her sharp claw piercing her paw & they cut all her sharp claws. It was a "very hot" summer here in Asia in 2024. Then I notice this May that she was walking non-stop around the house looking for hiding place while breathing heavily. I first thought she was having a heatstroke, so I took her a bath & got refreshed. But on d next few days, she was walking around endlessly & breathing heavily again. & I took here bath again. Then until d next few days, she was still restless. & I notice that she wasn't peeing & pooping for days until before. So I decided to take her to the vet again. They can't determine her illlness because she was on internal pain. The vet suggest to take her for an x-ray. So I took her for an x-ray & pass the results to our vet. They notice she have a lot of poop on her stomach & enlargement of the heart. If those poop were not come out, she will have a blood poisoning. So the vet gave her some laxative by a syringe dropper & suppository before we got home. She got pooped when we were home. Then I took her a bath to clean her up & got refreshed. But for tthe 2nd dose of laxative she can't poop, Maybe because she's now eating wet food & not dry food anymore, she have nothing to poop. But I notice that her pawas & legs were getting weaker & she can't stand up. So I gave here calcium syrup to make her paws & legs were strong again. I'm now worried to death that I can't take it if our Snowbelle will be gone. She was a healthy cat back in 1st week of May 2024. Sitting in the kitchen just asking for her feeds. Now she's sick. I wish & pray that she will get heal & become & healthy just like before. & not dying at 15. 😢

thanks everybody for sharing your beautiful memories with your families -basically our children- lost 2 cats so far in my life and it rips me apart each time and has made me question my acts to keep my babies alive and even cussing God for forcing me to experience such twisting deep loss and pain i dont have to describe to people who have lost babies- i feel your pain.

Hi i am absolutely dreading the day that we have to say goodbye to our little dog. She has been a great companion to me but at the age of 12 i feel her Golden Years have passed her by. She can be a pain at times but our pain a lovely pain. Great story telling James its not easy im sure. Just also wanted to share with you in case i am the only who who saw this, at 12:40 in the video if you look towards James and as you look look over his right shoulder what looks like a baby squirrel runs down the fence ! Maybe a sign who knows. I have given my little dog a couple of extra treats today and thought well 2 wont hurt!😉

I completely understand your pain. My "little girl" was born in our home and it became wholly hers. I had no idea that she would give me especailly, such pure, unadulterated love. She was our BLESSING AND COMFORT from God. She lived with us for seventeen WONDERFUL years. I miss HER intensely. Never to be forgotten or REPLACED. Rest in peace Sweetheart.

My cat Elizabeth died 5yrs ago in my arms, she was only 11 yrs old and I'm still not over it.

A massive congrats to you both. That must of been so so tough but glad you made it out the otherside. This is where time will start to fly but you are the pilot so take in every moment possible and enjoy this amazing experience!

I feel this in my bones. My little girl was born 13 weeks premature and spent 4 weeks in NICU then a further 6 weeks in SCBU. I understand every single part of your journey and feelings.
